The original home dates to 1790 with the building of the brick foundation in the English bond pattern with five rows of “stretchers” topped with a course of “headers” and then repeated to the base of the wooden frame. The pattern is distinctive and reveals the age of the building along with its pegged post and beam construction.
This dwelling now houses the “Heavenly” Doggie Day Spa, our new office and a drive-up car port for inclement weather drop-off and pick-up of our spa visitors. It also is home to six new private canine pet apartments that feature carpeting, daybeds and the pet channel on TV.
